There is a energy within the Ark of the Covenant that we have experience many times, but until recently we weren't able to figure out to contain it within an item.  The energy is carried in a vessel that we are assuming was put there by Moses, but we aren't entirely sure.  It could have been a living energy well before Moses was even scooped out of the Nile.  
We call this energy the Granter of Impossbilities, because that is exactly what it does.  It allows those things that are humanly impossible to become possible using extreme white light magic.  Technically speaking, these things would be miracles, but like Miracles 2.0 or something because this energy is the real deal.  
Basically we packed up this energy into a relic that we are now passing onto you for a cost, because we need to get paid for our time, too.  We are making it super cheap, though, because we see the people in the world and trust me-- the need miracles.
